Can two users change filters, targets, etc. at the same time in the EventSentry Management Console without causing a conflict?

The EventSentry management console is unfortunately not multi-user capable, as such you cannot modify the configuration on the same machine from differnet user accounts. In fact, the EventSentry console should not start if it is already opened by a different user.

If multiple users need to work with EventSentry, then we recommend that you either:

• Separate the monitored computers into logical groups, and assign each group to the respective admins
• Open the management console only when you need to make configuration changes, and immediately close it again once the configuration changes have been applied.
