When setting up the web reports with built-in authentication I receive "Server.CreateObject Failed" or "An error occurred on the server when processing the URL".

This error message occurs when the web reports attempt to send a confirmation email, but the eventsentry_iis.dll component has not been registered properly. To resolve this error, please follow the steps below.

1) Locate eventsentry_iis.dll where EventSentry was installed, which is C:\Program Files\EventSentry by default.
2) Register it by running "regsvr32 eventsentry_iis.dll".
3) Refresh the web page

Please note you can un-register the DLL anytime by running "regsvr32 /u eventsentry_iis.dll".

If the eventsentry_iis.dll cannot be found in the installation directory, please Reconfigure EventSentry to include IIS support or contact support.
