This is a bug in EventSentry version 2.60. Please follow these steps to remove the trial license manually:
- Close the EventSentry Management Application
- Open the registry editor regedit.exe
- Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\netikus.net\EventSentry
- Delete the registry subkey "License" (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\netikus.net\EventSentry\License)
- Launch the EventSentry Management Application. You will now be prompted to enter a new license key.
Please remember to perform a remote agent update after entering the full license by following these steps:
- Navigate to Tools -> Options -> Remote Update
- Make sure that "Also update configuration when updating remote agents" is checked
- Right-click the "Groups" or the "Computers" container
- Select "Manage Agent(s) -> Update"
