How to use Service Monitoring

Setting it up

Depending on how you want to set up your configuration, you may add the Service Monitoring Object to an existing package, but in this example we will create a new package and call it Services.

Now that the package has been created we will need to add the Service Monitoring Object. To add this item, right click the Services package and select Service Monitoring.

Finally, you will want to assign the package to a group. In our case, we are going to assign it to all computers by making the package global.

Default Installation

With the default installation of EventSentry, a similar package named Service Monitoring has already been created for you.
