Not receiving email alerts

I have two servers in their own networks, as far as I can tell, they are both configured identically, but one I receive alerts from, the other I don't... I do seem to receive alerts just after a reboot, but after that they stop. I do receive test emails when I check the email config.

What should I check?

Hello,

Are these two independent installations of EventSentry (full install) or are these machines with just the agent installed but on different networks than the central console? Are you using the collector? If you click on your email action, if the "Use Collector" is checked then you're using it. If you are using the collector, could you look in the application log on the central management console machine for any of these errors:

You can also look on the remote host in the application log for any 905 events. If you find any of these, could you please let us know what they are?

These are two independent installations. I only mention that there are two because one is working as expected and one is not. It appears that on a previous Q&A thread, I turned off the collector on the server that is not working as expected. I have attempted to turn it back on but I am still not receiving email (other than test).

To trigger the email, I am simply trying to log on to windows with a bad password.
